I learnt early on that people don’t fall in love with you because of your appearance.
Your face might get you second glances, the way you bite your lip or lick your fingers might turn them on, but love? Love happens in the midst of turmoil and ugliness. Love doesn’t always happen when it’s bright and sunny. Sometimes, love happens when it’s dark and pouring, when you’re drenched because of the sudden downpour and you can’t find a shelter, but you find him.
Remember this. No amount of changing can bring back the one who left.
You can become thin, put on some weight, change your hairstyle and even change how you look.
But if his heart’s not in it, you just have to pack your fragile heart and go home.
